Snapito was founded in 2012 by a cool group from the UK who recognized the growing need for automated website screenshot solutions. As the web evolved, so did the challenges of capturing accurate, high-quality screenshots of increasingly complex websites.

Initially, the team faced difficulties scaling the system to meet growing demand. In early 2015, ShrinkTheWeb, a leader in screenshot technology, acquired Snapito and its branding. Although the operational code was lost during the transition, the ShrinkTheWeb team spent over a year rebuilding the service from the ground up.

Today, Snapito powers screenshot operations for thousands of developers, agencies, and businesses worldwide. We've processed millions of screenshots and continue to innovate with new features and improvements.
